The Grand Summit Resort Hotel & Conference Center at Jordan Bowl, part of Sunday River Ski Resort, is a 215,000 SF, 194–room, resort situated at the base of the picturesque White Mountains in Newry, Maine. The resort is comprised of hotel
rooms and time–share condominiums, two restaurants, a health club, swimming pool, retail shops and ski equipment rentals. The suites feature multiple bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, balconies and lofts. Guests enjoy slope–side access from the hotel and Sliders Restaurant/Bar, catering to skiers
during the day. The Grand Avenue Grille features fine dining, and is open during the day and into the evening dinner hours.

The new structure features pre–fabricated, wood trusses and panelized frames, structural steel supports, a combination of shake shingle siding and wood clapboards, a blend of stone fireplaces, walls and piers, along with an inviting, plush entry and lobby.

The fast–track construction required Barr & Barr to draw upon its subcontractor relationships throughout New England and Canada in order to realize the schedule and quality expectations of American Skiing Company.
